Making your research outputs open has many advantages including increasing their reach. In this webinar, Dr. Monica Granados from Creative Commons will give an overview of open science across research outputs. We’ll discuss various mechanisms and tools to make your work open and discoverable including open licences and discuss how open science can be compatible with research security.   

About the speaker:

Dr. Monica Granados 

Dr. Monica Granados is Director of Open Science at Creative Commons where she works on increasing the adoption of open licenses on research outputs and how open science is changing in the age of AI. She received her MSc from the University of Toronto and her PhD McGill University and has published several papers on open access and data. She is also has worked with NASA to develop their Transform to Open Science initiative and on Environment and Climate Change Canada’s Open Science Action Plan.
